How can state of the art revolutionary Shockwave Therapy help heal you quicker?

Focused Shockwave Therapy Achilles Tendonitis

Shockwave Therapy - The game changing technology that has completely changed the way we repair MSK ailments.

Shockwaves stimulate the regeneration of skeletal muscle tissue and accelerate your body's natural repair processes. Intense energy sound waves - travelling faster than the speed of sound, penetrate deep into the affected tissues.

This causes microtrauma in the injured and painful area, which increases the blood flow and stimulates an acute inflammatory response, which will then increase the body's natural healing process and restart and speed up repair.

We can help accelerate the healing process of your pains and injuries!

3 - 6 sessions are generally required in most cases, and many patients report complete pain relief or a significant pain reduction. Shockwave Therapy helps to restore mobility, therefore improving your quality of life. Even in the most chronic of cases, Shockwave treatment has an overall success rate of up to 90% successful, and that is even where other therapies have previously been unsuccessful.

Suffering from acute pain or a chronic injury that wont disappear? Want to get better much quicker?

Focused Shockwave Therapy is the absolute game changer in the MSK Shockwave world and works very differently to Radial. It can be used for all sorts of ailments that can't be helped with just Radial Shockwave alone. Although, we generally find the most effective results are a combination treatment of both types of Shockwave together in the same session.

Other therapies such as massage and acupuncture can't even be compared to Shockwave, as it is by far the most effective treatment available on the market for pain and injuries. It is very safe and non-invasive and in some cases an excellent alternative to having steroid injections and/or surgery. The amount of energy Shockwave machines produce is very high and Focused Shockwave especially, targets deep into the injured tissue cells to stimulate repair very effectively.

These include Bone Healing, Osteoarthritis, Acute pain & Flare Ups, Insertional Tendinopathies / Deep-Seated Tendons, Degenerative Pathologies, Stress Fractures, Non-unions, Spinal Facet Joint Pain, TMJ Disorders, Coccydynia, Carpal Tunnel and Erectile Dysfunction (ED).

Focused Shockwave produces 10x more amount of energy than Radial Shockwave!

Shockwave Therapy explained. How does it work?

Shockwave Therapy is the process of acoustic wave (sound waves) passing into damaged tissue areas to increase blood flow and stimulate repair, whilst reducing pain and helping your body to restart its own natural healing regeneration process.

It is used to great effect for Plantar Fasciitis, Myofascial Pain, Chronic Tendinopathies such as: Achilles, Patellar, Gluteal, Adductors, Proximal Hamstring, Tennis/Golfers Elbow, Distal Biceps and Calcific Tendinopathy.

After only 3 sessions, many patients will see a significant reduction in pain and an improvement in their mobility

What is very fascinating is the fact that after the last session of Shockwave Therapy, the body still benefits from the natural healing process that the Shockwave treatment creates - for up to 12 weeks post the last session of therapy.

The total number of sessions a patient will require varies according to each individual and their respective ailments, but it is scientifically proven that between 3 - 6 sessions over weekly periods are required to achieve full maximum benefit. Generally 5 sessions are required on average for the majority of people.

What makes Focused Shockwave so revolutional and game changing for healing MSK ailments?

The differences between Radial
and Focused Shockwave and why it is good to combine them together.

Most advanced Shockwave practitioners will generally use a combination of both Radial and Focused Shockwaves for tendonitis shockwave treatment therapy. We often combine both types of Shockwaves for many different MSK conditions. When used together, it can be the most effective treatment to accelerate healing by promoting tissue regeneration and faster recovery. We also go one step further and also combine many treatments with our specialist Myofascial tools that can be used with the Radial machine. See below for more information on Myofascial release.

Both types of Shockwave massively reduce pain but in very different ways. Focused is very precise and targets specific deeper points of pain, while Radial is used for more generalised pain over a larger surface area. Together they are perfect to cover all angles and the combination treatment and our first class training with many leading practitioners is what sets us apart from many other Shockwave clinics and elevates us to the top.
