Shockwave therapy is a very safe and non-invasive, NICE approved therapy, used since the 1980's that involves passing  sound waves into the body to regenerate injured and inflamed areas and stimulate the bodies natural healing repair and regeneration process while reducing pain and improving mobility. It is evidenced based, scientifically proven and up to 90% effective, even where other therapies have failed beforehand.

It is used to great effect for Plantar Fasciitis, Myofascial Pain, Chronic Tendinopathies such as: Achilles, Patellar, Gluteal, Adductors, Proximal Hamstring, Tennis/Golfers Elbow, Distal Biceps and Calcific Tendinopathy. Focused shockwave is more expensive than Radial shockwave due to the fact that the cost of the machine and the  maintenance is much more expensive and Focused delivers a higher amount of energy into the damaged tissue and therefore requires less sessions than Radial shockwave and can even prevent steroid injections and surgery.
