Rich and Cher Pearson

I run a separate clinic for Shockwave Therapy with my business partner and wife Cheryl. Our clinic is called The Shockwave Therapy Clinic UK and you can access our dedicated website here.

I also run another clinic that is dedicated to Men's Health issues and that website can be accessed here.

We offer both state of the art revolutionary Radial and Focused Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy with top of the range Gold standard Storz machines, that are used by the elite Premier League Football and Rugby Union teams.

Shockwave therapy is a very safe and non-invasive, NICE approved therapy, used since the 1980's that involves passing  sound waves into the body to regenerate injured and inflamed areas and stimulate the bodies natural healing repair and regeneration process while reducing pain and improving mobility. It is evidenced based, scientifically proven and up to 90% effective, even where other therapies have failed beforehand.

It is used to great effect for Plantar Fasciitis, Myofascial Pain, Chronic Tendinopathies such as: Achilles, Patellar, Gluteal, Adductors, Proximal Hamstring, Tennis/Golfers Elbow, Distal Biceps and Calcific Tendinopathy. After only 3 sessions, many patients will see a significant reduction in pain and an improvement on mobility and after your last session of Shockwave therapy, the body still benefits from the healing process for up to 3 months

The total number of sessions a patient will require varies according to each individual and their respective ailments, but it is scientifically proven that between 3 - 6 sessions over weekly periods are required to achieve full maximum benefit. Generally 5 sessions are required on average for the majority of people.

Focused shockwave is more expensive than Radial shockwave due to the fact that the cost of the machine and the  maintenance is much more expensive and Focused delivers a higher amount of energy into the damaged tissue and therefore requires less sessions than Radial shockwave and can even prevent steroid injections and surgery.
